The pre-fabricated Municipal Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Unit features a compact, easy-to-handle design that provides municipalities with a safe, convenient, fully engineered containment and storage solution that fits into a small space and requires little maintenance. Hazardous waste materials can be identified, packed into drums and safely stored on-site until a sufficient quantity is amassed for transport to an authorized hazardous waste disposal site.

The building is constructed of welded 12-gauge steel with a chemical-resistant coating to ensure extra-strength, all-weather durability. Unit flooring offers large capacity secondary containment and removable, corrosion-resistant fiberglass grating for spill containment and ease in maintenance. Other standard features include a security locking system with inside safety release, air intake vents and hazard labeling.

Optional interior lighting, heat or air-conditioning, forced air ventilation and dry chemical fire suppression system are also available.
