  3. How do I select my building to meet my requirements and comply with codes?
    Go to the "Custom Quotes" page on our website. Please tell us how much of what chemical/hazardous material you need to store and we will give you a written price quotation.

  5. Does Safety Storage® provide help with permitting and code compliance?
    Yes, Safety Storage® can provide you with the necessary information such as applicable State approvals, drawings, and engineering calculations that will facilitate your permitting process.
  6. Can Safety Storage® provide me with on-site assistance in solving my chemical storage requirements?
    Yes, your local Safety Storage® Representative can assist you at your facility in determining what type of storage unit you need for your specific situation. This evaluation will be followed up with a written quotation detailing solutions and costs. Our field representatives are supported by the most knowledgeable factory support in the industry with over 20 years of applied experience in hazardous material storage applications.
  7. Does Safety Storage® provide customer support?

  8. What is required for a typical SSI building installation?
    For outdoor installations, a local approved contractor can construct a concrete pad and arrange for any electrical or plumbing option requirements. SSI will work closely with your facility engineers to provide technical instructions which will ensure a smooth installation at your site . SSI also provides custom paint colors to match architectural requirements.
  9. If I order a Safety Storage® Building, how will it be shipped to my site?
    Depending upon the size of your Safety Storage® building, it will be shipped on either a flatbed, step-deck, RGN, drop, double-drop trailer, etc. SSI’s Transportation Department will make all the necessary arrangements to ensure that your building is delivered to your location as promised.
  10. Once the building arrives, how should it be off-loaded from the delivery truck?
    Safety Storage® will provide the specific weight and off-loading instructions for your building. It is recommended that a contractor experienced in off-loading these types of structures be contracted to perform this service. In most cases Safety Storage buildings are offloaded by crane utilizing local, licensed rigging contractors.
