CTI™ In-Drum Compactors

Safety Storage® In-Drum / Drum Compactors are extensively used in industrial and military hazardous material or container compaction and for recovery and reclamation of hazardous chemicals and expensive volatile liquids. CTI Compactors offer an economical, dual performance for in-drum hazardous material compaction and/or used drum crushing system with a financial payback that customers report averages just 6-12 months.

When used as a hazardous material compactor, the CTI Compactor reduces the volume of hazardous material content within a standard 55-gallon drum. When operated as a drum crusher, the CTI Compactor compresses used 55-gallon hazardous material storage drums into a smaller volume mass.

The CTI Compactor is quickly sized and converted to meet a variety of drum or pail dimensions. Safety Storage® compactor/drum crushers can be equipped with anti-deflagration devices for additional protection when compacting drums or pails that stored hazardous flammable or combustible chemicals or materials. All volatile vapors, dusts and liquids are effectively contained, in compliance with EPA and OSHA codes as required, for each application.
